Our aim must never be to merely master the Scriptures, but, instead, to let the Scriptures master us. While systematic Bible intake should be a top priority in the life of the believer, this must have to do with sanctification as the end product. Without the Word dwelling in us richly we cannot accurately discern truth from error.

The wonderful words from John Newton, "Hear What He Has Done for My Soul" have been beautifully put to music by DJ Parker. Clint was blessed to record this song for a dear saint in the LORD, Tom Kish, who was nearing his final days before God called him home. This song wonderfully expresses the joy of salvation that can be found only in knowing and believing what Jesus Christ did for those who would believe.
