Communicator & Voice-Talent
In college I studied Communications --- not because I wanted to be a professional communicator, but because it was the means to an end, a college degree! However, as I have matured and developed professionally over the years, I have come to recognize that this was an area of intentional study for me, because of my love to communicate effectively. Funny how time and growth open our eyes to see what God was putting in place early on. I spent 9 years in Christian radio on the air and in management, served as emcee for several concerts and events, taught speech and drama, and completed many voice-over projects and a few video "talent" projects. Was this because of a "communications" degree? No, not likely. However, this was all most certainly, though, the providence of God for my life.
